As well as an intimate knowledge of overall SAP solutions and their respective business function, my career has allowed me to develop a focus on HR Transformation (particularly SuccessFactors), and the M&A space.
My engagement is often not simply a recruiter, but a strategic partner. Through my deep involvement with implementations, mergers, carve outs, transformations, I have developed a true understanding around project stressors & key engagement points.
I believe the days of binary, knee-jerk recruitment, are in the rear view mirror; the only way to add value and ensure successful programme delivery is to engage as a strategic partner.
What my team and I can offer, is the ability to pipeline and preempt the skills needed to keep delivery moving, combined with understanding programme politics – ensuring that there are no character clashes, and personality types are appropriate.
To name some recently wrapped successes, we have transformed the global payroll for HSBC using SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ensuring all countries are now on a global cloud payroll, some 800,000 heads strong) – as well as enabling a $4.6billion FMCG carve out, where we provided over 30 contractors where their previous routes to market had failed.
My team has placed in every continent (aside from Antarctica, but there is always time) at levels ranging from number crunching analysts up to CIO level, no role too big or too small!
Away from work my focus is anything two wheeled, mountain bikes, motorbikes, and attempting to do up vintage motorbikes for resale.
